Caglayan Grillhaus

This place is amazingly good and amazingly cheap for the food you can get. Not only it is fully authentic, high quality Turkish cuisine but it is also cheaper than how much you would pay for the same stuff in Turkey! Ökkeş Usta is a wonderful grill chef, whose recipes will make you wish you could just eat there all the time and not go home! The place has Turkish folk music playing at a very pleasant volume, and sometimes even has live Saz/baglama music. I recommend getting the Mixed Grill plate if you are at least two people.

I had a great experience at Çağlayan Grillhaus! The meat was cooked to perfection; juicy, tender, and full of flavor. The server was polite and attentive, which made the meal even more enjoyable. The place is constantly busy, and after tasting the food, it’s clear why. Highly recommended for anyone looking for authentic Turkish cuisine!

Definitely recommend! The food is amazing, with great lamb but also vegan options. The staff is super nice and always helped me find the perfect dish. They are basically always open and usually quite busy but somehow they still manage to have fast service !

Good Food. Reasonable Prices. The bread is tasty and the peppers that they use for their sauces and grilled peppers are flavorful and not overly spicy. The tea is refreshing and the baklava hit the spot . Not Mind Blowing, but overall a good place to eat.

For my first time trying Turkish food, Caglayan set a high bar for quality Turkish food. Many dipping choices and some pretty tasty desserts as well. I recommend the baklava and especially the Künefe, which has such a unique texture. The grilled chicken was excellent and the lamb wonderful. The menu item descriptions are in German and English, which was very helpful for me since I’m still learning German. The staff are kind, courteous, and most importantly, hard working. There was never a moment where I observed staff not working hard on the next meal or cleaning or checking to go orders or checking back on their customers. The location is also very nice on a main road with access to a U Bahn(subway station) and has tables outside if you’d prefer to dine in the fresh air. Overall, I cannot recommend this place enough. You’d be doing yourself a disservice if you didn’t visit. I hope this review helps and you enjoy your visit(s) as much as I have.

Amazing grill fresh and hot and super tasty. I can’t even describe you need to taste. Also people are so nice and great service.
